My partner and I had a great Valentine’s Day dinner with Vine & Vintage and Shauna! The 5 couples each paired up to cook one of five courses: -Charcuterie with a tahini-based hummus and roasted asparagus -A maple, beet, and arugula salad -A delicious butternut squash soup (my fav!) -A beet-based sauce drizzled over a rice penne -Vegan chocolate brownies with a ganache sauce (our creation) Everything turned out great, and Samantha did an exquisite job pairing our meals with interesting wines I hadn’t tried before… I was quite surprised with the variety of flavours and the quality that she found in the $20/bottle range! I definitely recommend doing a cooking class with the pair 🙂
